U13_P5 Demonstrate good working practices

It is vital to observe health and safety when working with computer equipment. The picture below shows a good example of good working practices; the technicain can be seen using an anti-static mat to work on, wearing the appropriate anti-static wrist strap and maintaining a clean and tidy work area. Any PPE that is required will be supplied by an employer and should be work at all times when in the workplace. Legislation is put in place to protect employees and their coleagues.
